AICTE has approved two courses for implementation of the Community College Scheme at Assam Engineering Institute in 2014 for Level-I and Level-II.

1. Automobile (Vehicle Testing) with an intake capacity of 100 students per level.
2. Construction (Building Technology) with an intake capacity of 100 students per level.
